There were a lot of firsts for me with this statue. It was the most complicated engineering I'd done at the time. I looked at a lot of Curt Swan's work and although we weren't doing a true Curt Swan piece, I wanted to try and get as close as I could. This piece taught me a lot and helped me get to the kind of work I'm interesting in pursuing today.
